Modbus Addresses in the LS Electric XGB PLC

Modbus is used to communicate with and control devices in industrial automation systems, like the LS Electric XGB PLC. Modbus TCP operates over a TCP/IP network (Ethernet), Modbus RTU (Serial) uses binary representation for data transmission, and Modbus ASCII uses serial communication with ASCII characters for data transmission.
