Do-More INTEGRAT - Integrate Over Time Instruction The Integrate Over Time (INTEGRAT) instruction is used to accumulate the value of the specified input location at a specified time interval. A typical example where this instruction is used would be flow meters. The number of rotations of the rotor is counted by a pulse transmitter and converted to volume and flow rate. The input is usually a rate value. A Sample Time changes the interval it integrates and adjusts the amount added accordingly. The Scale Factor is used to cast into a specific measurement like gallons per minute. The calculation performed at each Sample Time is: Integrate Into = Integrate Into + (Input * (current Sample Time in seconds)* Scale Factor). In our example, the result in R0 is added every second with the WXO value times the scale factor. Programming and examples of the BRX Do-More series can be found at this URL: https://accautomation.ca/series/brx-do-more-plc/ There are several reasons why we are using the BRX Do-More Controller. Here are just a few. – Standalone PLC with built-in I/O – Built-in Data Logging – Communication ability – Ethernet Port, RS232, RS485, USB – support for protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, ASCII, K-sequence (DirectLOGIC users), Custom Protocols (ASCII over serial, TCP or UDP over Ethernet) – Built-in Analog input and output – Integrated motion control – High-speed counters – Powerful instruction set (Video of Instructions in software)
